INTRAVAL is an independent bureau which carries out social scientific research. The research is concerned with socially relevant questions which demand clear answers in a short time period. As a result of its years of experience, involvement and knowledge, INTRAVAL has built up a reputation in the area of policy research. The bureau does not limit itself to research; it also provides policy advice.

The research and advice is concentrated primarily on four themes: addiction, livability, welfare and youth

The Staff

INTRAVAL has a core of social scientific researchers supported by (specialized) freelance staff members and qualified interviewers. The researchers are sociologists, psychologists, social geographers and criminologists who are able to apply their knowledge and experience to a range of subjects. The bureau works together with scientific advisors and also with universities and other research institutes.

Working Procedure

INTRAVAL works carefully, accurately and efficiently, and within tight time schedules. As a bureau for social scientific research and advice, INTRAVAL feels involved in the well-being of those groups in society which are in need of support.

The Advice

Recommendations on the basis of research are oftentimes not enough. For that reason INTRAVAL, if asked, follows up on the research results by providing a series of advice. These points of advice are based on broad support and are tested on the extent to which they can be realized. In addition, INTRAVAL can also be consulted in the development and implementation of projects.
